Gregg Randall - WPI/NTPA Office GM

Randall joined the WPI/NTPA Office Staff after graduating from Urbana University in 1990. His first opportunity with the company was as the scoreboard/laser operator. In the fall of that same year, Gregg began working on event sanctioning in house under the tutelage of WPI President/CEO David P. Schreier. Randall was responsible for sanctioning State National and Pro National events at that time as well as working with the pre-commitment program for competitors. After three years with the company, he spent the next four years managing his uncle's printing company in his native Urbana, Ohio. When an opportunity to come back to the NTPA presented itself in the summer of 1997, Randall returned to the company working with marketing, promoter and printing concerns. The in-house graphics design position was a result of Randall's experience in printing. Also while away, Randall promoted an NTPA event called the "Mad River Valley Nationals" around Memorial Day weekend each year. It gave Gregg experience he otherwise would not have had in returning to WPI/NTPA. Among Randall's responsibilities include overall management of the WPI/NTPA Office in Columbus, event contracts and sanctioning, competitor programs, the Enderle Pull-Off event, and the weekly television series shown on RFD-TV called "NTPA Championship Pulling." Gregg, his wife Dana, and their two daughters, Allison and Emily, live north of the office complex in Lewis Center, Ohio.

Bev Ross - Accounting

Bev joined the NTPA after answering an ad in the paper for an accounting assistant in March 1997. At the time, she had minimal knowledge of tractor pulling, but after 12 years on the job, that has certainly changed. In 2005, she took on the majority of the accounting duties. In addition to accounting, Bev also used to manage the subscription and merchandise departments. Bev lives in Johnstown, Ohio and she and her husband, Bill, have two sons, Billy and Tyson.

Helen Swartz - Membership Operations

Born in West “by God” Virginia and a native Ohioan, Helen still calls Wheeling, W.V. home. She moved to Columbus, Ohio in 1985 with her husband Don and daughter Michele and worked for an oil company. In 1986 her son Zach joined the family and Helen went looking for a job that required less time in the office and more time with the family. She accepted a job at Price Waterhouse as a librarian. After six years, she decided to take some time off to do some camping and get into dog breeding as a hobby (she only had to do that once to find out it's a lot of work!). After taking a year off to spend quality time with her family, Helen decided to rejoin the work force in January 1993 and found an interesting looking job title of Marketing Assistant for the NTPA. After a few months she was asked to fill in the vacated spot of Membership Director and was more than happy to accommodate. When the job of Administrative Assistant became available, she accepted the position. This position gives Helen many varied tasks and duties with everybody working hard to get the job done. Helen has seen a lot of changes, and various people come and go, but she will always be amazed at the small town feeling within a big organization.

Sarah Toland - Publications Editor, Subscriptions and Web Mall

As a junior at The Ohio State University, Sarah stumbled upon an NTPA Pull Program and thus, her career with the NTPA began. After contacting Gregg Randall about a potential internship, she spent the summer of 2004 traveling the NTPA Grand National Circuit promoting Chevrolet and experiencing things such as boiled peanuts, Chicago rush hour traffic, and the humor of Larry Richwine for the first time. In mid-September, the internship was complete and Sarah reluctantly returned the keys to her beloved Chevy Trailblazer. Three years passed before Sarah returned to the NTPA in June 2007. She now serves as editor of The Puller magazine and other NTPA publications, and oversees the NTPA Web Mall, subscription database and contingency program. Sarah feels blessed to have an awesome family including a husband who always puts the seat back down.

Joshua Steinmetz – Communications Technology & Scoreboard Operations

Josh’s time with the NTPA began in 2008. As a student at The Ohio State University, he joined the NTPA ranks as the scoreboard operator for the season. He and three other students at Ohio State designed and built an all-new scoreboard trailer which hit the road during Josh’s second summer on the job. In February 2010, his responsibilities expanded as he came on board full-time to operate the scoreboard, maintain the NTPA Web site, develop an NTPA presence in social media such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, and design publications. Josh has enjoyed many tractor pulls as a fan and was a member of the quarter scale pulling tractor design team at Ohio State. In his time away from the track and office, he enjoys woodworking.
